Taama joins Iterative's W26 batch

In March 2026, we closed our pre-seed round and joined Iterative's W26 batch. This is a short update on what that means for Taama and where we're headed.

Why Iterative

Iterative is a B2B SaaS accelerator based in Southeast Asia. They back founders building software for real business problems, and they've funded companies like Jenfi, Shipper, and Tinkertanker. We applied because the fit was clear: Taama is a B2B SaaS platform, our primary markets are in Asia-Pacific, and we wanted partners who understood what it actually takes to sell software to food and supplement brands in this region.

What we're building

Taama is an AI-powered compliance platform for food, beverage, and supplement brands. We check ingredients, labels, claims, and registration dossiers against regulations in 18 markets, including TGA, FSANZ, HSA, BPOM, NPRA, EFSA, and FDA. The goal is to give brand teams a definitive answer on compliance before they commit to packaging, launch timelines, or market entry budgets.

The problem we're solving is specific: regulatory compliance is the single most common reason international product launches fail or get delayed, and the current solutions are either manual, slow, expensive, or all three.

What changes

Joining Iterative accelerates a few things. We're expanding our market coverage faster, deepening our ANZ and SEA regulatory data, and building out the product dossier and document validation features that brands need before major market submissions. We're also working with a growing group of food and supplement brands across Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia who are using Taama to run compliance checks before launch.

What stays the same

The focus stays narrow and specific. We're not building a general-purpose regulatory database. We're building the fastest, most accurate way for a brand team to get a compliance verdict on a real product in a real market, without needing a consultant on retainer to interpret it.
